What Is IOP?

Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is a structured level of addiction treatment designed for clients who need more support than standard outpatient counseling. IOP provides multiple therapy sessions each week, combining individual counseling, group therapy, relapse-prevention education, and accountability. This program is ideal for clients who want consistent support while still maintaining work, school, or family responsibilities.

Our IOP Includes:

• Multiple weekly group therapy sessions

• Individual counseling with a licensed clinician

• Treatment planning tailored to substance use and mental health needs

• Relapse-prevention education and coping-skills development

• Progress monitoring and regular check-ins

• Coordination with detox centers, hospitals, and probation officers when needed

• Support for court-ordered treatment requirements

• Medicaid-approved services

 

Who IOP Is Best For

IOP is recommended for clients who:

• Need structured support for addiction recovery

• Are stepping down from detox, withdrawal management, or residential treatment

• Experience cravings or triggers that require more frequent therapy

• Have co-occurring mental health symptoms such as anxiety or depression

• Need treatment hours that fit around daily life

• Were referred by a probation officer, court, or outside provider
