Mental Health Counseling

Supportive, evidence-based counseling for adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, and co-occurring substance use challenges. Medicaid accepted.

What Is Mental Health Counseling?

Mental health counseling provides a safe and confidential space for clients to work through emotional, behavioral, and psychological challenges. Our licensed clinicians help clients understand their thoughts, emotions, and patterns while building healthier ways to manage stress, relationships, and daily life.

Counseling can be used alone or alongside addiction treatment, depending on each client’s needs.

What Mental Health Counseling Includes

• One-on-one therapy sessions with licensed clinicians
• Personalized treatment planning based on each client’s symptoms and goals
• Support for anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, stress, and mood challenges
• Cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based approaches
• Trauma-informed care for clients with past or recent trauma
• Emotional-regulation and grounding techniques
• Coordination with psychiatric services for medication support if needed
• Documentation for court or probation-related requirements when applicable

Who Mental Health Counseling Is Best For

Counseling is recommended for clients who:
• Experience anxiety, depression, stress, or mood instability
• Are dealing with trauma or major life changes
• Want support for mental health alongside addiction treatment
• Need help managing emotions, relationships, or daily functioning
• Were referred by providers, attorneys, or probation officers
• Want a consistent, judgment-free space for personal growth

How Mental Health Counseling Helps

Counseling helps clients gain insight, develop coping skills, reduce emotional distress, and improve overall mental wellness. It supports long-term stability, better decision-making, and a healthier sense of control in life.
