Medication Management

Medication evaluation, monitoring, and ongoing support for adults managing mental health symptoms or co-occurring substance use challenges. Services provided by licensed psychiatric professionals. Medicaid accepted.

What Is Medication Management?

Medication management helps clients stabilize symptoms related to anxiety, depression, mood disorders, trauma, and addiction. During these appointments, a psychiatric provider reviews how medications are working, adjusts dosages when needed, and offers guidance on side effects and long-term treatment options. The goal is to help clients find the safest and most effective medication plan to support their recovery and mental wellness.

What Medication Management Includes

• Evaluation of current medications and mental health symptoms
• Ongoing medication monitoring and adjustments
• Support for anxiety, depression, mood instability, trauma symptoms, and cravings
• Review of side effects and response to treatment
• Care coordination with therapists, primary doctors, or case managers
• Education on safe medication use, expectations, and timelines
• Relapse-prevention support for clients with co-occurring substance use
• Telehealth appointments available for convenience

Who Medication Management Is Best For

Medication management is recommended for clients who:
• Experience anxiety, depression, PTSD, or mood-related symptoms
• Need stabilization after detox or treatment transitions
• Are struggling with cravings, emotional instability, or sleep issues
• Want to understand whether medication could support their therapy
• Have been referred by a provider, court, or probation officer
• Need consistent follow-up with a psychiatric professional

How Medication Management Helps

Proper medication care can reduce symptoms, improve daily functioning, stabilize mood, and support long-term recovery. Regular appointments ensure clients receive the right level of monitoring, helping them stay safe, grounded, and supported while working through therapy.
